Founded in July 2014 by CEO Jeff Benjamin, Facilitron emerged from a vision to improve how school districts share their buildings and grounds with their communities. What started as a humble initiative has now grown into the world's largest public spaces rental marketplace, partnering with public schools, colleges, churches, cities, and private facility owners nationwide. We’re proud to stand by our innovative business model, which is committed to protecting school district budgets by charging no out-of-pocket costs and providing long-term, data-driven partnerships.

Over the years, Facilitron has partnered with over 12,000 schools across 31 states, managing billions of square feet of facility space. We've helped schools generate additional revenue through rental programs, putting money back into their budgets while fostering meaningful relationships with surrounding communities.
That being said, the past decade hasn't been without challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic tested our resilience as community rentals came to a halt. Yet, we adapted swiftly, helping our partners manage pandemic-related programs and ensuring safe reopenings through contact tracing solutions. Our commitment to your success never wavered, and by 2023, we rebounded stronger than ever.
