Description
The Arroyo property sits on a parcel of approximately 60 acres owned by the Rancho Santa Fe Association. In early 2000 the RSF Association identified the property, then known as the McMorrow property, as a valuable land purchase for the RSF Association. In partnership with the Trails and Recreation Committee members and Association Parks and Recreation Department, the property has been maintained and enhanced for the use of Covenant members. Today the Arroyo is used for fishing, hiking, camping and community activities of all kinds. The Arroyo is one of the largest parcels in the Ranch that is a natural and open environment that easily accessible for the use of all Covenant members.
CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THIS FACILITY:
* FIRE WITH PERMIT ONLY.
*Once Facility Permit is approved, member will need to send burn permit request to scheduling@rsf-fire.org. Fire District phone number is (858) 756-5971. If burn permit is approved, member will need to sign and pick up burn permit in person at 18027 Calle Ambiente, Suite 101, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067.
*Permit holder must be present for entire duration of event.
*FIRE IN FIRE PIT ONLY
*Extinguish all ashes with water before leaving premises.
*Do not dump ashes around campsite.
*RSF Fire Protection District number: (858) 756-5971
*Parties of 10 or more will provide at least 1 portable toilet and 1 waste receptacle. Campers are expected to remove all waste.
*Arroyo Campers do not need to purchase Insurance. Insurance will only be required for private events held at the facility.
*I understand loud or boisterous use of the facility, including swearing, drug use, or alcohol abuse is prohibited. Loudspeakers/loud music is prohibited. Discharging firearms is prohibited. The Rancho Santa Fe Patrol can rescind any permit at any time and may ask individuals or the entire group to leave the premises. The permit holder is responsible for the condition of the facility during and after use and will be responsible for any damage that has occurred during the times for which they have reserved the facility.
