BURLINGAME THEATER - Our classic venue
The historic Burlingame Theater will take you back to a time when amplified sound wasn’t necessary. Its classic look belies the latest sound and video technology, as well as a fly system. As a full featured theater it boasts a sense of intimacy that few venues can match. Please note: with limited dressing room space, this venue is best suited for smaller events, such as lectures, film screenings and small meetings.
OTHER NOTES REGARDING SMUHSD THEATER FACILITIES:
We do not have LEDs, moving lights, intelligent lights and special effect lights in any of our venues. General light plot – PARs, Source 4, RGB Cyc Lights. Light plot available upon request. Haze and atmospheric effects are strictly prohibited in all our venues.
THE PROJECTOR SCREEN LOCATION VARIES PER SITE. PLEASE DISCUSS DETAILS WITH THEATER MANAGER ON YOUR WALK THROUGH.
THEATER TOURS: Renters are entitled to one 30 minute walkthrough of the theater (s) prior to the rental process. After permit is approved, they may have ONE 1-hour walk through with the Auditorium Manager and/or technicians. Any additional need to see the space or have a walk through will result in an hourly labor charge to be determined by the Auditorium Manager. Walkthroughs subject to staff availability.
