As the official GATE/AVID Magnet- STEA3M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Academics, AVID, and Mathematics) for WSD, we will work every day to inspire each student to achieve his/her greatest potential. This year we will be adding 3D printers, computer programming and coding robots, along with a variety of after school programs, including a partnership with Disney for our 3rd-6th graders. Additionally, we will be offering Code to the Future program- a program the White House has recognized as the leader in computer science magnet schools.

Communication is an important key to success! Parents will continue to be informed of their child's achievement through parent/teacher conferences, progress reports, and report cards. At any time during the school year parents may request information regarding their child's progress. We ask that parents, in turn, keep us updated with changes to emergency contact information or any other pertinent information through the WSD Parent Portal system.
