Ridgefield School District
There is a possibility that COVID-19 restrictions may require rescheduling of district events, which in turn could require the district to bump external user reservations. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. " By Governor’s Order, RORC and RSD facilities/fields are Closed to Gatherings of Any Number of People. RSD facility/field reservations will not be able to be approved until Clark County enters Phase 3"..” t.”

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our entire community. Stopping the spread of coronavirus must be the lens through which decision-making is made. We take our role in supporting this effort seriously. To this end, we remain in regular contact with our local public health officials as well as state officials, including the Governor's Office, OSPI, and the Department of Health.

With the above in mind, here is what we can tell you with certainty right now. Effective immediately, all indoor events and activities sponsored by or hosted by the District, or in District facilities are suspended until further notice. Currently, the regional superintendents are scheduled to meet tomorrow morning to discuss the coronavirus and its impact on local schools. More information will be forthcoming following that meeting.

We sincerely apologize for the limited notice, and we will be keeping you up to date as the current situation continues to evolve. We are doing everything we can to minimize the impacts of a closure on all of our students, community members and partners.

Thank you,
