FACILITY USE UPDATE: SMUHSD is currently accepting requests for ALL facilities. Effective 12:01am on Tuesday, August 3 all indoor user groups must wear face coverings. Vaccination continues to protect against severe COVID-19 illness, but with the COVID-19 Delta variant now infecting a small percentage of vaccinated people as well as many unvaccinated people, eight Bay Area health officers have issued Health Orders requiring masks indoors in public places. The Orders require all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face coverings when indoors in public settings, with limited exceptions, starting at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3

Peninsula High School serves more than 200 San Mateo Union High School District students every year.
Peninsula has a small learning environment with classroom capacities of 28 students. The overall average student to staff ratio tends to be 25 to 1 or less to ensure all students receive the individualized attention and guidance to foster change and success.
