Northmead Elementary is a TK-5 school located in Patterson, Ca. Northmead is a proud member of the No Excuses University Network of schools whose goal is the success of all students through the constant improvement of six exceptional systems. Northmead Elementary’s motto is “Where Character Counts and College is for Certain.” But what does that mean? Character Counts is a program that highlights six pillars of character (including respect, responsibility, caring, citizenship, fairness, and trustworthiness). At Northmead we believe that by teaching character we can create an environment across the campus that helps students learn. College for Certain does not mean that we expect everyone of our students to someday pick a career that requires a college degree; it means we expect every student to be prepared to go to college if they choose to go.
