COVID-19 Announcement:

"After conferring with regional educational partners, state and local health officials, the Governor’s Office and the Georgia Department of Education, and with the safety and wellbeing of our students, employees and the community at large at the forefront of our minds, Dougherty County School System will be closed beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 and will now remain CLOSED through the remainder of this school year. The safety of our students, employees and community will always be our first priority."

Community rental requests are not currently being accepted due to COVID-19.

Community Spaces for All Your Activities
Live Oak Elementary, the newest school in the Dougherty County School System, has gifted certified teachers on staff and gifted students participate in Life Lab one day per week. Uniforms are required for all students. The uniform code requires a white or navy collared shirt with khaki or navy bottoms (pants, skirts, jumpers or shorts no more than two inches above the knee). In addition, Live Oak's students may choose to wear hunter green shirts. Extended day services are available after school.
