Hillsboro School District Admin Center
Community Users: In order to ensure our school based programs have priority scheduling, the Hillsboro School District does not approve rental requests from community users more than 2 months in advanced.

Community Users: Due to Bond construction involving most of our schools, and the shifting of staff and resources, the Hillsboro School District is closing all buildings/indoor use from community users from June 17 - September 3 2019.

Based on the Governor’s current guidance limiting non-essential events and large gatherings, we are temporarily suspending the use of our facilities between March 12th and April 8th. More information can be found on the HSD website.

J.W. POYNTER MIDDLE SCHOOL
Community Spaces for All Your Activities
Mr. Poynter came to Hillsboro in 1937 and presided over the district during a time of great growth. In his 19 years as superintendent, he saw the system grow from 500 students, 21 teachers and two and one half buildings to nearly 1,600 students, 73 teachers and four buildings. When Hillsboro school District openened a new Junior high school on Grant street. It was christened J.W. Poynter School.
