Community Spaces for All Your Activities
Gahanna Middle School East was completed in 1975 when the Gahanna Schools changed to a middle school concept. It was originally built as an "open classroom" building with large open spaces and a limited number of walls separating the classes. Currently, moveable walls that allow for flexibility in instruction and variation in the grouping of students separate many of the classrooms. In 2000, the building underwent a major renovation with expanded music areas, additional classrooms, office space, and a new gymnasium.

We value: creating respectful, responsible, and ready learners, ensuring students grow from their failures and celebrating with them as they succeed, establishing a positive and safe learning culture, having rigorous and student-centered instruction to develop problem-solvers,utilizing technology, partnering with our parents and our community.
