FEMA Request for Public Assistance
FEMA has extended the deadline for submittal of the Request for Public Assistance (RPA) to thirty (30) days past the end of the incident period close. The incident period is currently still open. However, FEMA advises applicants to apply as soon as possible, which is why we advise to apply by April 17. The School Districts can go directly to this website and apply for a Grants Portal Account and Request for Public Assistance without first receiving an invitation from Cal OES.

Traditional Public School Districts should select SPECIAL DISTRICT as their Organization Type.
Public Charters should select INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT as their Organization Type. 4:02
